     i told the owner of the datacenter who says he is “very pro 1A” i was sorry for any emails he gets about us and his response was

     Awesome. Those e-mails can go straight into the trash, or maybe we'll print them out and make a collage for the new data center wall.

     think we will be fine and if I can cover the costs for 6 months up front it will be a little more than half of what we were paying so its massive for us

     @graf @8ecc597ddbdaade689a04177c70784c11103626f1015c81ee440acf2dc901cdd @VBurner @verita84 I’ve been thinking about it. I don’t want to hardcode “mostr.pub” into Soapbox. Instead Nostr actors should identify as Nostr users over federation, then Soapbox applies special treatment to those users. That’s a lot of work though, so I’m still deciding.

     I know this is also just even more work for you, but are you considering porting Soapbox over to Nostr at some point? Iris is complete aids and I love Soapbox (in a straight way).

     @8ecc597ddbdaade689a04177c70784c11103626f1015c81ee440acf2dc901cdd @alex @VBurner @verita84 soapbox is structured in a way it detects the software its running on (pleroma, mastodon, nostr) and enables functions each of those support (blurhash for images, for example on poast) so i imagine its easier than writing from the ground up
