   Social Security ought to be better funded, we all agree. That should come from lifting the cap on those who make more, especially those who make millions a year in income.

   Don’t raise the age limit. Raise the cap.

     Yes, most other defined benefit pension plans don't cap the wage basis for contributing to the plan.
