   I’m seeing events from Mostr published on other relays like damus. I can’t reproduce it from my bridge. I wonder if someone is mirroring the events?

     Someone told me that clients can broadcast info to other relays but I have no idea if that’s actually true.

     @614aee83d7eaffc7bc6bbf02feda0cc53e7f97eeceac08a897c4cea3c023b804 If you sign an event and put it out there, there’s no reason someone who isn’t you couldn’t take that signed event and pass it directly to another relay. So it’s absolutely possible. For deletion requests it’s even encouraged.

     @614aee83d7eaffc7bc6bbf02feda0cc53e7f97eeceac08a897c4cea3c023b804 Perhaps NIP-42 should be required to send an event matching the identity you authenticated with (except deletions): https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/42.md

     This fixes the “DM events being visible” problem btw. But I don’t think strfry supports it yet.
