   This is a lie. It was all public: I said "Just instance-block me", you said you only would if I turned on the bot, so I turned on the bot. We discussed this very recently.

     I don’t hate bots, though. I don’t like his spam bots, specifically, but I don’t have a general objection to bots in general.

     @Soy_Magnus @dcc @ehhh It means that if someone blocks/unblocks 30 times between one run of verita84's DRC bot, it just posts that once, no problems. There's a maximum rate because of its design.
     
     The Nichy version of the bot just triggers a message immediately when it receives the block, which means that it will post 30 blocks.

     @ehhh @Soy_Magnus He called the blockbot thing a "DDoS", which it was not (because it was not distributed), plus he hates the Strangelove bot. It's kind of funny that the "BLOCKING IS FOR PUSSIES" crowd doesn't mind instance-blocking, but I think everyone is happier with my account blocked from their end.
