#Today, as I finish my quick third cup of #coffee, I look forward to celebrating the first year of the first grandchild.

I anxiously await the Good Books (Caldecott winners, mostly…but much Richard Scary too) we will share, the joy of exploration to come…as I remind myself to enjoy and make every moment count.

Worlds in a garden, ages in a beach, the connections between people and planet…seeing them through the eyes of a toddler is my comfort food for a weary and hungry soul.
