   @aral @jokke Debian at least used to be upstream #ubuntu, I don't think that is still the case, but it might be, I gave up on Ubuntu nearly 10 years ago.

     @aral you say arch/manjaro as it would be synonymous. It’s not. Manjaro is not arch. It’s a completely different distro. It’s like saying Ubuntu is Debian just because they both use apt. Manjaro maintains its own package repositories so anything that went wrong with upgrading manjaro is manjaro‘s issue. Not arch‘s.

     Man what a dumpster fire Arch/Manjaro is. Just bricked the PineBook Pro by trying to perform the wildly esoteric task of… upgrading packages using pacman.

     ?♂️

     (Was just playing with it before I install Fedora Silverblue on it so no harm done.)
