Y'all ever think about those adages like "do [thing] ten minutes every day and you'll get good", and how they're technically true but don't provide the context to understand *why* it's true or *how* to do it?
Well, that's the case for my very literal, neurodivergent self. For me it's more helpful to get specific with the intended action. "Before bed, when it's quiet, grab a pen, and sketch a landscape that reflects how I feel or explores an idea I had" is where I've ended up. Seems to work.
