     its kinda funny cause hogwarts legacy goes out of its way to have a woke diverse cast but it was all for naught. its also a pretty good game if you like open world titles

     @animeirl @MischievousTomato @cohle I don't think it's just respectability politics to ask people to stop. It also teaches people that being a trans ally means making angry posts online about videogames, rather than anything involving material conditions of trans life.

     I made the mistake of watching jim sterling's video on it where he rants about how you can't call yourself an ally if you play hogwarts legacy which seems like a good way to accomplish nothing except maybe make people who would otherwise be helpful disengage

     I hate to play the "respectability politics" game but all stuff like this accomplishes is making gays or trannies look like annoying weirdos and if it has any material effect on lgbt rights its probably negative
