OwlWhen I get tired of reading all the Fedi-fighting, I understand how it is that I’ve alienated a lot of people on the Fediverse who were once my friends.
Guys, sometimes you just need to let things go and leave people alone. Stop going into threads looking for a fight or looking to work an angle. You’re going to find it, and you’re going to be reminded that there are people who don’t care about your argumentative or moral boundaries, and they’re going to cross lines and say things that are meant to cut you right to the bone.
It’s tiresome to watch the fighting, it’s tiresome to see you get cut in a way that leaves you resentful and bitter, just leave it be. Do something you love, go do something you enjoy, be with people who lift you up and who are on your side. Things should not be getting as personal as I’ve watched them get the last couple of days but there it is. Now make the choice to not respond. Be the people that you say you are, use your moral and spiritual guidance and don’t be stupid.
