     @coldacid I completely missed it. The closest I've gotten to getting upset about that is they did a new dub for Evangelion on Netflix and I don't think there was anything wrong with the old one but I watch subs exclusively and prefer to make fun of dub lovers because i like toxicity in fandoms

     The new Urusei Yatsura is great. The art and animation are good, in my opinion better than the old anime. It is a lot of fun to watch. It feels like the good parts of old anime and the good parts of new anime put together. It may be the model to base remakes on if you think remakes are necessary (they're not, but this one ended up being good so I'll allow it.)
     
     A small number of nuts with brainworms (I won't direct you to them) really dislike it and are mad that it's popular. If it were trying to piss people off I wouldn't be touting that but as it is it's a small number of people that clearly can't be satisfied and it's fun to point and laugh at them.
