   They literally flew a lgbt progress flag on the US embassy in afghanistan before the US was pushed out there. The US has generals who are openly trans.
   
   The world has changed: the transphobe republicans aren't in charge anymore (outside of weird places like the house of representatives, where they are probably a sizeable bloc, and nations like Saudi Arabia/Afghanistan/Iran/etc)
   
   @saskboy what would convince you that trans people are no longer a "marginalized group"? Merely having enemies doesn't make you marginalized.

     Genuinely wish telling trannies to die on the internet would kill them. It’d be pretty cool to have the internet functioning as a death note. Unfortunately no man can have all that power.

     The existence of transphobes on the fediverse does not mean they are marginalized. Again: having enemies does not make a group marginalized.
     
     They are close as a group to the center of power in the world as anyone, currently.
     
     They can be discriminated against, hated, and more...but they *aren't* living on the margins anymore.
