翠星石 (suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com)'s status on Monday, 13-Feb-2023 20:36:49 JST 翠星石 @matt That's why you don't use permissive pushover licenses or do "open source".
You should use the GPLv3-or-later or AGPLv3-or-later, as those licenses are much better written and cover almost everything MIT expat has missed.-

Matt Corallo (matt@mastodon.bitcoin.ninja)'s status on Monday, 13-Feb-2023 20:36:55 JST Matt Corallo Open Source only works if the licenses that it is based on provide developers protection against lawsuits, including SLAPP suits. In this case its been made clear that they do not, at least in the UK, which should be incredibly frightening to all OSS devs.
