     @DrTCombs This (and the fact that slide-in campers don't really work with short-bed doublecabs at all) is pretty much why my next vehicle's probably going to be a van instead. Just needs to have two seats and be camp-inable.

     @DrTCombs im gonna be honest and say something controversial

     the kinds of people who buy a truck that big don't need a truck that big and a reasonable sedan or hatchback would do the trick. they just need to compensate and portray themselves as some kind of manly man by buying a truck and then proceed to never use the bed or tow anything and keep it clean and pristine. it's so unnecessary to the point where whenever i see a big truck i think "there must be a very weak man in there"
