   We build vehicles that weigh 9000 pounds with 1000HP, can go 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds and market them recklessly.
   We then ask people to wear construction vests to cross the street.
   This is all so beyond absurd - it's truly incredible that we've normalized this.

     @tk @tomflood Neil, you don't know car culture. most car enthusiasts hate these monstrosities too. this is Shareholder Profit Maximization culture at work. build bigger vehicles to skirt emission laws and make them more expensive to buy but make them cheap so that margins are huge and shareholders benefit. there is no car enthusiast involved in any process.
