   Look,

   I’m not trying to say that genetically altering cats so that they can fly is the solution to spy balloons.

   I AM saying that I’ve never seen a balloon survive for 12 hours with cats around.

   Take what you will from that.

     Cats outdoors are one of the leading causes of bird deaths. I think the powerful balloon #lobby would really fight creating #flyingcats. #saynotoflyingcats

     @stillkindahoping seeing as that birds aren't real™️ and are robotic controlled government drones, the cats would be doing us a favor.

     The real question is... what will they demand in return??? ?

     True. #Birds haven't been real since the 1980s when the USA achieved #SufficientHomeWeaponDensity. But at least the birds were controlled by humans, until now. Damn you, ChatBRD!

     @stillkindahoping @Mrfunkedude I get my cats airborne through the use of a large, but gentle, slingshot made from those rubber elastic exercise bands. Once airborne the cats are aerodynamically stable and capable of level flight. Distance and duration of flight depends on headwinds, weight, fur density, temperature and humidity. The cats have learned to bank and circle back to their launch site for smooth four paw landings. Photos upcoming.
