     He's been working on it for 3 decades, think they just helped fund the completion/release. Looks really good though, zero dialogue in it too just a lot of fucked up claymation and sfx.
     
     Nope, I've been slacking tbh, modernity's a motivation killer. I've only just caught upto ~New Years on my jewtube watch laters. I tend to avoid thrillers, I prefer monster/psychological horror or at least gorefests over gloryholefests lmao.

     Oooh, ok. Bit of Lovecraft definitely does add to the appeal.
     Is it well done? A lot of people fail when it comes to cosmic horror, it's a bit of a bitch to portray outside of the imagination.

     No, that's from "I Feel Sick: A Book About a Girl" by Jhonen Vasquez. It's kind of a sequel/spinoff/side story of "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" (in the same vein that "Squee!" is - a character that interacted with Nny and survived).
     
     And in case you weren't aware, this is all from the same guy that later brought us Invader Zim.

     There is, quirk, yes, but less kiddy-show than Zim. (Everyone who knew Vasquez from JTHM was astonished that he got a show in Nickelodeon.)
     
     Going back to Ill Will, I was wondering if he was inspired by Vasquez, and that appears to be the case:

     Same with shit like critical role, I find myself looking for excuses to dismiss/hate content that's borderline woke before giving it a shot. I've all but written off one partisan side's ability to make entertainment at this point.
