     Strong disagree. Small towns are fine, the countryside is fine, american style suburbs are not. They're hugely environmentally and culturally destructive and can only exist by siphoning off resources from economically productive cities. They're cancer.

     i think rural living is cool (and also required for society to function) though i personally prefer living in a city or a practically designed european or pre-1920s style street car suburb. American style suburbia should not exist

     I don’t know how anyone who’s lived in the city versus the burbs would prefer the city life. I’ve had actual nightmares of having to live in New York City.

     could be done in downtown LA pretty well supposedly. theres a video on it ive been meaning to watch. suburban sprawl can't be made workable but those areas will solve themselves in a few decades if we stop bankrupting the country subsidizing them because they're impossible to maintain
