We fixed reports about accessibility with the app. Thank you for taking the time to describe these issues. We will now improve UX with media in timelines. If you have ideas to share, they are welcome :) #Fedilab
@apps I don't know if that's been fixed already, but I noticed that exceptionally long image descriptions are cropped from view and only the final portion is displayed.
@apps Thanks. A small / big thing: will you be able to increase the space for follow counts, so that they can be read when larger text sizes are used please?
@apps I don't know if this fits here, but for me it is still not possible to download pictures. For videos, on the other hand, it works fine. This has already been reported in the Codeberg Issue Tracker: https://codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/issues/720
@apps the thing that I really enjoyed about the Twitter 3rd party app flamingo (rip) is the tap and hold on an image or video to quickly get a full screen view of that media. No need to tap and "go back". It sounds weird and barely more useful than the normal way, but it was really nice
@apps Is what I'm saying, it doesn't make sense, but holding your finger on a media to quickly full-screen it for a quick glance feels so nice because once you're done looking, you can just let go and go back to what you were doing instead of hitting "back". It feels much more seamless. I really think it's something you have to experience rather than have it explained to you to understand why it's so great. The main reason I loved Flamingo.
@apps What does it do? I can feel it vibrating on hold but doesn't seem to do anything. Also it was just an idea of something that I really appreciated in another app. If it doesn't fit, than it doesn't fit. Just throwing my 2 cents in here
