     @alex the biggest meme is the idea civilians should care about foreign countries spying on them when their own governments do the same but actually have the power to do something about it.

     TikToks from people concerned about the balloon are an especially interesting (?disturbing?) phenomenon. I am not on TikTok so I have no idea how prevalent such posts are, I've only seen anecdotes on other platforms. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them think.
