   Apparently we have a scandal about child strollers in the buses. Alt left media figured out it’s because the public transit is designed by people who don’t use it and completely lack any diversity. They then presented some of their ideas how to make buses more conducive to travel with child strollers. All these proposals inadvertently create difficulties or hurt other groups of bus riders. So much for diversity.

     @ignaloidas @pony @piggo I'm no engineer, but I assume it's much more reasonable to design and build some new buses than it is to redesign and rebuild an entire city.

     @pony@blovice.bahnhof.cz bruh, why so many people want to take strollers into buses then? I'd imagine the primary use-case for strollers would be to go with a child into a park or something, is the park density so bad that it can't be done on foot?

     @ignaloidas wheelchairs are quite rare and the buses allow one, two at most, which is enough, but it’s not enough for the strollers where the demand often exceeds the capacity

     @ignaloidas @piggo yeah that’s the more valid part of the criticism, one popular route I observe is just one stop to the shopping mall that would be easy to walk to but the sidewalk sucks and is often blocked by cars
