So, did you guys know that currently for at least 5 hours, potentially since February 1st, there's been a Chinese Spy Balloon hovering over Montana?
Did you also know the Pentagon refuses to shoot it down because its "not safe" to?
Its 3 busses wide, and has a technology bay.
This begs the question, how did a spy balloon get into our airspace unnoticed, and why wasn't it shot down immediately? Wouldn't this also be considered an act of war? (Genuinely asking the last one)

If it’s a High altitude weather balloon it’s in a spot where you can’t exactly fly a helicopter up there to and lasso it. These things can reach 100,000 feet in the air, there is too much risk in just popping it as it would be extremely difficult to know where it will land.
That’s my 2 cents at least.
Back to being dumb!

okay so, not safe to shoot down. I could maybe understand that, if it's over a populated area or something. BUT, surely there could be a way to idk, RETRIEVE the damn thing? Go up with a helicopter and lasso the sucker, i don't fuckin know...
