@kerosene Just noting that Wi-Fi usually encapsulates Ethernet packets and its packet format is similar to Ethernet.
1000BASE-T is indeed faster than Wi-Fi mind you.
Wi-Fi cables are indeed a thing - you can do 802.11 signalling encapsulated in Ethernet over 1000BASE-T and you can also get an excellent signal for testing purposes by screwing a antenna extension wire between two wireless AP's rather than antennas.

@coolboymew I remember this thing with a caption related to Idiocracy that was something like "He stopped trying to explain to idiots that ethernet was faster than wifi so he just told them that he could talk to the router and that it wanted to be used with wifi cables". Just paraphrasing but it was hilarious :02lul:
