My question: Do you suggest me enable the new improvements for, let's say, a better / new / or kind of streaming experience?

Any way we could get the boost & favourite etc icons to be smaller. Find they take up a large amount of the timeline.

So far the position in timeline is now very solid, even after restarts (to test) and a night sleep. Thank you!?

One thing that I now notice, if I boost a message, the arrow is colored blue. If I see that message later again, my boost is not visible at all until I open the message. Is this expected behavior or a bug? ?

@Lon it only happens when adding to favorites? Is it for all timelines? What happens if you like a message - force kill the app and restart. Is it still in favorites with the yellow?

It was not a boost. I have tested it now: I like a message and the star is yellow. I exit Fedilab and when I come back after a while to the timeline, the star is gone, until I open the message. I see the yellow star. If I then go back to timeline the star stays yellow... only until next time.
I have tried with enabled and disabled "clear cache when leaving", it made no difference.

Not a big problem for me personally, but perhaps not the way you want it to work. ?

@apps I must have misunderstood what background caching meant. I thought I could open the app and it would have already downloaded my timeline, but I'm still having to wait for it every time. I confirmed that the app is not restricted in battery usage.

@apps Wouldn't that be using the standard cache, though? I thought the new home cache feature was meant to download the timeline in the background, so you didn't have to wait for it when you started the app. I have no doubt that the existing cache works, because I always see messages when I start the app, but they're *old* messages, and no newer ones are available until I wait for it to refresh.

      I can't vote again.
If I check in another app, I can see the results. See images.
