   @erik I don't get the point of that image.
   
   In my experience the nouveau driver screen tears just as much as any other driver or GPU with the same monitors.
   
   Where does 12fps come from?
   While performance varies widely between card models, depending on reclocking progress, even on cards with no reclocking, you'll still get more than 12fps in most 3D free software - glxgears and a number 2D games run at 60fps even.
