   Honestly confused by this. Can anyone explain this social media behavior?

   If you post or boost stuff I'm not interested in, that's fine, but I might unfollow to curate my own timeline.

   But I got an angry "you can't silently unfollow me and keep me as a follower!" message. Uhm, ok? But I really don't get it. Am I missing some unspoken mutual behavior?

   I follow, and unfollow folks frequently. Say something interesting, boost my post, favorite something, or follow me, I'm likely to follow you.

     @horse I think I've seen some posts with tools that track your (un)/follows automatically.

     But like you, I really can't imagine caring that much about individual follow.

     @supernovae already done. The sum total of my "concern" was to ask this. Always possible I missed something.

     As I said, more confused than bothered. It's like the folks back on the BirdSite who had to announce they were unfollowing people.
