   Some people have mentioned the idea of Soapbox having a public roadmap. I like this idea, so people can see that we’re planning to build stuff they want, and that it’s just a matter of priorities and time.

   What I don’t know is the best way to manage, build, and display it. Can you send examples of roadmaps in other open source projects?

   My gut reaction is to display a Gantt chart on soapbox.pub, either pulled from GitLab milestones or from a Mermaid file.

     @book @alex The sole benefit of proprietary software is the ability to lie to the public and sell shitty software as the final product, until something goes so catastrophically wrong that you need to fix it.
