     @tost@mk.toast.cafe :akko_woozy: no rush tho. this incident was a little bit weird. because the accounts in question were marked as deleted but the user still could login. so they started to delete posts which clogged up my queue really badly.
     things run stable now tho, but still i think this is an issue we should focus on some time soon

     @puniko@mk.absturztau.be I'm going to look into bull/bull-mq/synchronization issues tomorrow; we talked about it irl with johann literally today
     I have a suspicion it's a bull problem that may be solved in bull-mq (namely that stuff is just getting duplicated mysteriously)
     
     it's still confusing though because we just send the single account delete activity, but something separate makes it cascade, I guess?

     @tost@mk.toast.cafe i suspended the accounts, so now they certainly can't login.
     
     idk why this happened in the first place tbh. but i also have no clue what happens when deleting an account (apart from the is_deleted field gets set in db). without knowing that, i suspected it got aborted someway through and left the account in a limbo state

     ok that's a very different problem
     can they still log in?
     I would have wanted a db dump to do turbodebugging, but I know better than to ask for that ?

     @puniko@mk.absturztau.be @tost@mk.toast.cafe I remember previously deleting an account deleted the row in users but not used_usernames. I don’t know shit abt this just thought this has a chance of being useful
