   What would it put in its place?

   A national sales tax that would let the rich off the hook AND make working people pay more.

   It won’t pass, but what does this say about the GOP’s priorities?

     Because our press, the single most important means of creating an informed citizenry, is an arm of the greediest corporatism the world has ever seen, bolstered by the very government they are charged with “keeping honest.” It’s a shitstorm and we are the ones covered in excrement.

     @rbreich @Turntwo363 They scream and yell about “inflation” and the first thing they do when they take over the House is propose to raise prices by 30%. How is it possible 1/3 of Americans don’t see through their bullshit?
