   Reminder that "working hard to get a woman" is not a commandment from God and is an atrocious modern tradition and phenomena that the church has wrongfully accommodated, instead of fixing and fighting back.
   
   Throughout Scriptures, it is the Lord directly or indirectly through the family who brings a couple together, not a man's sole effort. Works do not save. Faith saves.

     @SuperSnekFriend So what you're saying is Christianity invented inceldom because, much like incels, Christians believe that they magically deserve women despite doing nothing and then blame their own failures caused by their own laziness on higher powers working against them.

     @Alex Where in that passage of Proverbs does it say you deserve a wife, let alone a prudent one? It only says that a prudent wife, an excellent wife, is from the Lord. I don't deserve anything but hellfire. A good wife is an awesome graceful gift of a merciful God.

     That you believe that there is no God or do not believe that He gifts a faithful man an excellent is abhorrent and something you must repent of, then you must believe in Jesus Christ and in God's power to bring a couple together and to save you from your sins.
