@ivory I tried using it with iOS VoiceOver enabled. There seem to be a few buttons without text labels, but essential functionalities look very accessible to blind users. Thanks for the great work, and please keep it accessible for us.

@sikk things were much different a decade ago. We were juggling 4 apps to make a living. The work required these days only allows us to focus on one or two.

@robert_said_what Because developing a social media client takes a ton of work and is a constant work in progress. The API will continue to improve and change over time. Things we built initially will get improved to work better. Not everyone is willing to pay for a subscription and that's fine. It's a free market and you can use what works for you. But we are in the business of building a high quality app experience and there are many who are willing to pay a sub to fund our hard work.

@ivory @robert_said_what i remember that I bought tweetbot a decade ago. Didn’t seem to hurt you and somehow you were still be able to finance your business. Let’s be real: you realized a lot of people pay subs, it makes more money.

@sikk there are plenty of free mastodon clients available if you are looking for one. We are making a premium app and charging for it so we can run a sustainable business long term. Everyone can co-exist and thrive.

@ivory @sikk I don’t have any objection to paying for an app to access a service but why would you expect customers to pay monthly? You are providing an app that helps someone access another service. It’s not like You’re running mastodon and we are paying for the app and the service you created. I would be happy to pay a 1 time up front fee but I’m not interested in the subscription model

Is there any way to disable the “falling” animation when dismissing an enlarged image? It’s nerve wracking, somehow.
