   I mean, it's cool and dandy that you want to create a space where a well defined segment of people can hang out and connect, but if you can't/won't moderate for peoples safety, then you've only created another space for the worst crowd.

     If you're gonna spin up a fediverse instance: connect with someone who can handle the moderation part, cause just being a helluva techie with a boner for "everything can be debated" won't ever cut it.
