     @LordMordred @kilostere my point is that the transmission knob is the logical step forward since you just have to place your hand on it and turn it, rather than actually move the stick forward and having to actually unlock the stick like in golf 2

     I get in my truck, put the keys in the ignition, crank it, put my foot on my brake, move the stick down to D for Drive or up to P to Park or slightly down on to R for Reverse.
