   BBCの日本に関する記事、みなさん話題になってるんで原文を読み始めたところですが。
   なんかこう、UK独特の皮肉に加えエスノセントリズムを随所に感じる文体ですね。

     例えば韓国の報道機関が”slain”とか”glandpa”とかに等しい言葉をここで使ってたら”普通の日本人”が沸きまくりだと思うんですけど。
     なんというか、ある程度の礼節の矩を超えているというか。
     内容はその通り、としか言いようがないんですがね。

     記者は日本の配偶者と3人の子供がいるとのことで、充分に当事者ですから、まあ、そう言いたくもなるよな、と思うのですが。
     それでも、なんというか、権力勾配が背景にあるよな、と。

     なんかこの記事をもって、「よく言ってくれた！」となるのは…
     うーん、どうなんだろう。

     まあそれだけ日本のメディアが忖度に塗れていて、西側も日本をさらなる武器庫にしたいから痛烈な批判を避けているところがあるので、そういう”空気”を読まずこれだけの忠告をした、というのは評価に値するのかもしれませんね。
     そういった意味からは記者とBBCの矜持を感じないこともないなと。

     ちなみに”忠告”と直したところ、”諫言”と書くつもりが”讒言”と書いてしまい、あまりにも酷い誤字だったので削除して再投稿しました。

     日本の市民である子供達を思う父親が書いた記事、と思うとなんだか切なくなってきた。

     同じ立場であるはずの日本の記者達はなぜ同じことができないのだろう、とかも考えると。
