     There's been photographs of sea life with those things stuck around their heads/necks. How prolific it is, I don't know, but that's the reason why we're "supposed" to do it.

     How do we know they're real tho... I mean ReGretaBle ThornJew just lied and staged a fake arrest over fake climate concerns. Every last one of those pictures could be fake. It could be it's just meant to distract from BIGGER problems... like ocean dumpage.
     
     They get you fixated on thinking you can "save the planet" by doing stupid pointless shit, all the while you're completely distracted from the REAL issues.

     I think the real issue is n words that litter and who aren't going to cut them up anyway, I really don't think those rings inside of a plastic bag at a landfill somehow end up in the ocean.
