     First time offense in the state so he might have gotten the sentence reduced by the judge and then only served partial time in the actual prison. A prison can let people with less serious crimes out after serving only part of the sentence dependent on how full up they are.

     Last thing on this one. He got 60 days for the capital protests, federal, which his jail time starts on Feb 1. Then in Arizona he got 30 days for assault which has been appealed so that has been on hold as far as I can tell. Here's the article on the AZ charges.
