     @glynmoody I mean, not really. ChatGPT doesn't really afford you anything you couldn't already achieve by getting someone else to write for you, which a lot of rich kids could already do (and did).

     If your grading gets broken by ChatGPT it was already broken.

     Also: Grading is a Bad Thing that we should Do Away With, but that's kind of a separate issue.

     @glynmoody I wouldn't call it "democratisation", and I also wouldn't necessarily count on it scaling that much in the long run, considering the "astronomical" compute costs.

     No need to worry, soon it'll only be rich kids doing it once again.
