Try to restart the app
@apps
Option "do not show left margin" does not work here. Please take a look
@beandev
Double tap should be better
@apps
But the pinch zoom is still hard to manage. Much better than before, but you must be really good to, start the zoom exactly with two fingers in the oposite direction. If you fail, the images moves up or down.
When I place two fingers on the screen, gesture recognition should never assume that I want to leave the viewer.
@apps
Yes, fixed:
@beandev
Image descriptions should no longer be displayed.
@apps
But his zooms only one step and interacts badly with image description.
I tried to upload a video, but my instance cannot do it. I try to make a smaller one.
@beandev
Reproducible bug with different media?
@apps
Impossible to upload. I create an issue.
@hias1234
Ah, to remove them you have to set the number to zero.
In settings > timelines
@apps
Doesn't help. Maybe a misunderstanding: I refer to the coloured lines on the left that stay either way. Is that not meant by left margin?
@beandev
You're outside the media.
@tjk
Have you an example of media?
@apps I still get the odd panning behavior after zooming in. I zoom in, then drag a finger across the image, and the image will move a few pixels, but then get stuck. If I drag again, I get a few more pixels, and then it gets stuck again. It seems odd that I can't pan around smoothly when zoomed in.
@hias1234
It removes the left margin below avatars in all messages to make them more compact.
@apps
Good, that did the trick. What is meant with the left margin option?
It's live on Google Play
@beandev
Fedilab should detect server limits. I will check that.
@apps
I think this is only a limit issue with this instance. Not a Bug. No problem ;) I created an issue about the pinch zoom problem.
@Lon
Just after displaying your media, we got a crash. Seems related to a zoom out greater than initial size.
@apps
Zooming works smooth now in media viewer, but in some cases the app crashes to Android screen when I go back from viewing image to the timeline.
Emptied cache, reboot phone, but problem still exists. Fedilab 13.14.4.
Perhaps it is only in my app ?
@Piky_Nieves
Yes, but we think it's better to have a preview instead of a loader :)
@beandev
@beandev
What I can see about pinching is that image should download first.
Otherwise, no way.
@apps
@Lon and you don't see the fetch more button?
@apps
What are the recommended settings to be able to scroll in home timeline and not miss the messages posted at night?
I follow a time-tell account, that is how I noticed I regular miss a few hours of messages.?
