   Now I'm wary of any fictional setting where a unique Earth government/corporation oversees space colonization. We didn't do it for Earth colonization, why would we do it for space? A few video games stand out, like Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Offworld Trading Company.

     @masstransitkrow Indeed. I probably should add that, like the Bechdel Test, this personal test of mine doesn’t reliably inform on the quality of the work.
