   @lunarogue@tech.lgbt Moving from mastodon to calckey is exactly like moving from mastodon to mastodon. It's entirely automated. You point your new account at your old account, then your old account at your new account, the magic happens. Your followers will come over, but it also brings the people that follow you to your new account automatically
   
   Your old account will also show a redirect to your new account when someone views your profile on the old instance, however no instance migration brings old posts to the new account, even if you move from mastodon to mastodon.
   
   One interesting feature of Calckey though, is that you can set up a "watch" on any post, even one that someone else made, and it will give you notifications when someone replies or boosts it, just like you get for posts that you made. So that means you can set a watch on any important posts from your old account and see notifications of them on your new account on Calckey.

     Anyone know what the Mastodon -> #Calckey migration looks like? Is there a way to import posts into Calckey from Mastodon dumps? Do followers redirect correctly?

     It seems the import posts story is generally "no", but I'm curious why that is and why I couldn't batch import these into the DB. Signature related perhaps?
