my headcanon is richard stallman and linus torvalds met up at one point, then upon linus calling it "linux," richard said the entire "i'd like to interject for a moment" copypasta, then linus responded with the entire "no richard, it's linux, not gnu/linux" copypasta, then they silently hated each other and never spoke again for the rest of time
