     i have Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro's and AKG K240's and think both are pretty decent but then again i think most headphones that aren't scams or super bassy are i just prefer open backed ones

     > get flacs (but listen thruly to actually notice if they are true flacs or not, there are some programs for this)
     > convert to monkey's audio (APE) to same some extra space while being lossless
     > convert to 144kbps opus for devices where you dont need/cant have the flacs (phone, laptop, music player, your mom)
     As for headphones, I have the AKG K52 for music production and Sennheiser HD350BT for personal listening and both are kino

     @MischievousTomato @orekix @tai I bought like 10 different high end headphones, always ended up using the sennheiser the most. Although I must admit that I only use shokz for spoken stuff and Sony wh-1000xm4 for the rest these days.

     @lain @orekix @tai I love my sennheisers, and i hope they keep making stuff. The only thing that has fugged up after 2 years of use is the ear cups that can be replaced, the battery life is as based and audio quality is as redpilled as the same day i got em and sennheister has added features thru firmware updates

     @MischievousTomato @lain @orekix i think bluetooth headphones are the devil but there absolutely is a case for playing back flac if your transmission is through a lossy aac transcode or whatever i can't make sense of this mess https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_codecs#Bluetooth
