   someone tell me why i shouldn't buy a lot in detroit for $325
   
   i see no possible downsides of this, it's like buying Detroitcoin and hoping for a Bidenmoon when he pours ninety trillion dollars into HUD to Make America Great Still or Build Back Butter or whatever

     @Drive_By_Comment Some of the cheapest lots are sold by the Detroit Land Bank Association that requires a plan for development, but many do not.

     But do those lots have like "Must build in 5 years" clause.
     
     Because those are pretty normal around here. Town sells lots for 1 euro, but you must build home in certain time or deal is off.
     Yeah that must be it. Otherwise people would indeed buy them off just as sure investment.
