   I’m posting this account from here because I can’t post it from my main account—because calckey.social is down.
   
   Why? Because suddenly, we got inundated by 18,000 messages in our queue—and this has been increasing by the minute.
   
   @kainoa believes the server may be under a spam attack.
   
   We’re looking into the problem, and in a few hours, we hope to get more engineers on this.
   
   My apologies that service is currently denied.

   On the #Fediverse, there was a big spike in MAUs during the past few days, and I have no idea why. I've also confirmed this spike on Fediverse Observer.
   
   I did see some correlation for https://calckey.social's Fediverse requests, as you can see with the second chart.
   
   Anyone have some guesses on what went on?
