   This is absolutely wild. I was just making a poll for fun, and because I was a bit curious as well what would be best to use in my writing. No idea that the community is so perfectly split on this.

   My personal preference is fediverse, I like the more informal use. In really informal talk I actually prefer to simply call it fedi.
