The saddest part is, that we aren't even building our modern buildings thinking about our ancestors enjoying them 2 000 years from now.
No, we're tearing down 50yo buildings, since we don't like the style anymore.
As someone pointed out the other day in a thread: Even gaming consoles are just boring PCs with a different OS now.
No more exotic CPUs controlling some weird niche coprocessors that only a lone genius in a basement in Hull can figure out how to use effectively. Just a multicore CPU, a GPU and some USB ports.

Nobody's here just because it's trendy. If you're here, you want to be here.
The best social media experience I've had in years.
Thank you to all of you, among these 15 million accounts, who have helped make this a wonderful place to be.

There comes a point when you've said your peace, argued your points, produced your evidence and continuing to argue with cishet people about whether or not the clear transmisogyny in front of you is REAL, becomes demeaning.
I have hit that point. From here, it's on y'all to do better. Or not. Just don't think I ain't notice. I have given as much energy to this as I want to give. I'm thinking about Keanu movies, lunch, and weed now.
No harm, no foul, but I will not debate open abuse.
There’s a *lot* of misinformation going around about Google “moderating bookmarks” now.
No, they’re not. Collections are entirely different.
Collections can be shared around, and others can join in and edit making it a potentially very public list. So legally, Google would have to remove things just like any site running anything public that people can add things on.
I get that Google aren’t liked but let’s not spread misinformation please.

This is what I’ve been suggesting for the past 7 years now.
No one listens to me, though.
