   So sad to hear about #JimmyCarter.

   During his administration, #environment and #energy conservation become an important part of the political agenda. It was then when the notion ‘small is beautiful’ was conveyed and later applied to technology applications.

   Perhaps the only thing you need to remember is that in 1979 amid the Arab #oil embargo #JimmyCarter installed 32 solar panels on the presidential mansion.

   They were taken down in 1986 during the #Reagan presidency
