   Missed something in skimming a document and caused a LOT of financial damage this week, so that’s cool. I took someone’s word on the brief and assumed he knew what he was talking about, being old and experienced, and it turns out I really should have just done it myself and totally ignored his help, since I would have caught it by working alone.

   The upside: Only the chinese were harmed in this transaction, so I’ll call it a mitgated win. Not sure on the scale yet, but given the speed-height index of the first stern email…..it’s a harsh bill.
