@baralheia sadly I can’t offer solid help.
My main thought: in that situation many doctors would likely diagnose burnout and my health insurance may actually pay for rehab.
Which means: this is as serious and real as a broken leg. And there are professional help options.
And no shame in taking them. Even if there’s no health insurance that puts down the money to prove it.
Regardless of that thought (which may completely miss the mark):
I wish you strength, whatever path you choose.
My husband and I are trans. My family is full of queer people.
Trump has explicitly and repeatedly promised to use the apparatus of the federal government to go after families like ours.
He'll be aided by a state government in #Indiana that has shown that it has the appetite to help.
My family is so terrified right now. We're making plans in case we have to flee to someplace safer.
I need help.
My court case, where we are arguing that UK law already offers non-binary gender recognition, is 1st November at the Royal Courts of Justice. I need to raise a lot more money, and would really appreciate a public demonstration supporting me. I don't have the time or emotional energy to do either.
Wow, this was super contentious. Great conversations.
A *lot* of doomism. That's a bummer; it's a toxic disinformation trend that keeps smart and capable people from doing what's needed to save the planet.
If that's where your head's at, find a way out. We need your help.
My response is citizen; I think it's our best option for effecting change. It's really hard, I know.
