   Yes, so let's look at every city in America that has attempted to "dismantle" their "racist" police structures. First, there is zero evidence police structures are tied to racism today what-so-ever. Five black cops in Memphis, USA just murdered a black man and the entire news media tried to claim this is racist somehow? That's fucking insane and makes zero sense, much like your entire statement.
   
   Second, all those cities that defunded police have had sky rocking crime. The people who can afford to are moving out and leaving. It's the dumbest possible solution to a problem that literally doesn't exist. You invent a problem, blame a boogie man and watch everything go to shit. This is in cities like Memphis and Chicago where the majority of the city council and elected leadership are all black. These have been black run cities for decades and they've been run into the ground.
   
   It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with morons who believe all this bullshit about cops being bad. Or that we can replace them with social workers or some shit. You know any social workers? I know several who wouldn't go into half of their situations without police officers backing them up.
   
   You're on aus.social, so I assume you're aussie? I've lived in Melbourne, and I've also lived in Seattle and Chicago. It's pretty night and day. People in Melbs complained that Footscray was scary and I guarantee you it's nothing compared to East Garfield in Chicago. The problem in that city isn't racism, it's completely ineffective local government. They've been hemorrhaging police officers every year and it's only led to the crime getting worse.
   
   So yes, go on about getting rid of all the police. I'm sure that type of low-cognitive take with zero forethought or depth will work out for everyone.
