@pixelfed @yabirgb @anfora Sadly Anfora is no longer maintained, but when it was, we worked closely together on several features and ideas.
In a way, Anfora lives on through Pixelfed.
I really miss @yabirgb, and our dev chats.
Anfora & Pixelfed were both AP based photo sharing platforms, and even though we were technically competitors, it never felt that way.
We live in a time of magic. There is so much potential with technology, science, innovation ideas.
In 2001, the editor of The Globe & Mail killed my weekly technology column. He said that there was no more technology yet to come. LOL!

Techno-skepticism reins
That's why Trend #1 of my 23 Trends for 2023 which I started in December focused on "Techno-Skepticism"
If history teaches us anything, it is that there are two types of people
- those who recognize accelerated skepticism as a result of the natural ebb and flow of the technology industry
- and those who fall prey to their disbelief and stop all innovation, creative thinking, and investment
History teaches us that success comes to those in the former camp.
Which person are you?
